     For the 2006-2007 school year, Robert Bowen will be in his 8th year as a Percussion Instructor, with this being his third year as the Percussion Caption Head. He started at Trabuco Hills in the Fall of 1999.  He specializes in teaching the Battery members during for the fall and winter seasons.
     Robert attended Saddleback High School his fre
shman year in high school.  He transferred to Trabuco Hills High School in the Fall of 1996 and played saxophone in the marching band.  In the Winter of 1997, he switched over to snare drum.  In the Fall of 1997, Robert became the Drumline Captain and played lead snare for two years.  Robert graduated from Trabuco Hills in the Class of 1998.  Robert has taught at Orange High School (1999), Western High School (2002-2003), El Toro High School (2000-2002), Magnolia High School (2002-present), Redlands High School (2003-present) and Saddleback High School (2000-present).      Outside of the high school arena, Robert Bowen has been involved with the Drum Corps activity.  He was a member of the West Coast Sound and Earthquake Drum and Bugle Corps in 1997.

     Aside from THHS, he was a second year snare drum member of the 2003 Black Knights Drum Corps from Burbank, California. The 2003 Black Knights Drum Corps captured the silver medal at the 2003 Winter Guard International (WGI) World Championships in Dayton, Ohio.
