In the 2008-2009 school year, Catherine Alonzo will be in her 9th year as the String Coach.  She started at Trabuco Hills in the Fall of 2000.  In addition to teaching at Trabuco Hills High School, Catherine also is the String Coach at Los Alisos & Newhart Intermediate Schools.  Catherine has a private music studio and gives private Viola and Violin lessons to students of all ages.

    Catherine graduated from Mission Viejo High School in 1983.  She received a Nursing Degree at Pacific Coast College.  She started her education as a Viola major at Saddleback College.  Catherine is currently working on a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Viola Performance and on a Bachelor of Music (B.M.) in Music Education at Chapman University in Orange, California.
