Trabuco Hills High School, a member of the Saddleback Valley Unified School District (SVUSD), is located in Mission Viejo, California. The instrumental music program boasts locally, regionally and nationally recognized competing units such as the Thundering Mustangs Marching Unit, Color Guard, Percussion Ensemble, Symphonic Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Winds, Jazz Ensemble and Pep Band.  In 2001, Trabuco Hills High School was recognized as one of the four schools in the state to receive the California Distinguished School of Fine Arts award.

For the 2008-2009 school year, the Trabuco Hills High School Instrumental Music Program will be the proud host to one of the largest and the last Western Band Association (WBA) circuit show in Southern California before the WBA Marching Band Championships the following weekend in Pleasant Hill, California. The 16th Annual Tournament in the Hills will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2008. This tournament is the MAJOR fundraiser for the entire instrumental music program. Consequently, we require that EVERY PARENT involved in any aspect of the instrumental music program (band, guard, orchestra and jazz ensemble) to volunteer in one way or another!!! We will also host the 5th Annual Jazz in the Hills in Spring of 2009. SAVE BOTH THESE DATES!!!
