PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE
The Trabuco Hills High School Percussion Ensemble is the 2019 Southern California Percussion Alliance Percussion Scholastic Open (PSO) - Finalist (12th Place). The Percussion Ensemble is under the direction of Robert Bowen (Caption Head), with assistance from Rudy Arzaga, Donovan Alanes, Sarah Ko, Jackson Lai, and Deanna Stockwell.

During the fall season, the Percussion Ensemble is part of the Thundering Mustangs Marching Unit. As such, these members are required to attend all marching unit events. During the fall season, rehearsals are typically Mondays from 1:15pm until 4:15pm, Tuesdays from 2:15pm until 5:00pm, Thursdays from 6:00pm until 9:00pm, Fridays from 2:15pm until 5:00pm and Saturdays at varying times.
In the winter season, the Percussion Ensemble will compete in the Percussion Scholastic Open (PSO) class in the Southern California Percussion Alliance (SCPA) circuit. During the winter season, rehearsals are typically Mondays from 1:15pm until 4:15pm, Wednesdays from 2:30pm until 5:00pm and Fridays from 3:00pm until 5:30pm. The title of the Winter 2020 show is Sticks and Stones.
