PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE
The Trabuco Hills High School Percussion Ensemble is the 2024 Southern California Percussion Alliance (SCPA) Championships Percussion Scholastic Open (PSO) 14th Place school. The Percussion Ensemble is under the direction of Donovan Alanes (Caption Head), with assistance from Dylan Schwartz, Angel Abonza-Ruiz, Emily Cabug, Stella Cortez, and Brianna Requilman.

During the fall season, the Percussion Ensemble is part of the Thundering Mustangs Marching Unit. As such, these members are required to attend all marching unit events. During the fall season, rehearsals are typically Mondays from 3:00pm until 5:30pm, Tuesdays from 3:00pm until 7:00pm, Thursdays from 5:00pm until 9:00pm, and Fridays and Saturdays at varying dates and times.
In the winter season, the Percussion Ensemble will compete in the Percussion Scholastic Open (PSA) class in the Southern California Percussion Alliance (SCPA) circuit. During the winter season, rehearsals are typically Mondays from 2:45pm until 5:30pm (All), Wednesdays from 6:00pm until 9:00pm (Battery Only), Thursdays from 3:30pm until 6:30pm (Pit Only) and Fridays from 2:45pm until 5:45pm (All).
