THUNDERING MUSTANGS MARCHING UNIT
The Trabuco Hills High School Thundering Mustangs Marching Unit is the 2024 Western Band Association Marching Band Championships Class AAA Champions and Class A/AA/AAA Grand Championships Bronze Medalist. The Marching Unit is under the direction of Brad Pollock and Quincy Nguyen. Visual Caption includes Quincy Nguyen (Caption Head), Don Gallaher (Drill Design),Johnny Jagerman, Darrel Burns and Chad McCormick. Percussion Caption includes Donovan Alanes (Caption Head), Dylan Schwartz, Chris Braun, Nick Quan and Brianna Requilman. Color Guard Caption includes Gabe Escobedo (Caption Head) and Angel Flores. Music Caption includes Thom Morales (Woodwind Caption Head), Ryan Elecciri (Woodwind Instructor), Luc Dubreuil (Brass Caption Head), Josh Sanchez (Brass Instructor), Brian Watson (Brass Instructor) and Alexis Winchell (Brass Instructor).

In the Fall of 2026, the Thundering Mustangs Marching Unit will compete in Class AAA of the Western Band Association (WBA) circuit, as well as Class 5A of the California State Band Championships (CSBC) circuit. The title of the Fall 2026 show is Hexahedron. Musical selections by Frank Sullivan.
Rehearsals are typically Tuesdays from 3:00pm until 7:00pm, Thursdays from 5:00pm until 9:00pm, and Fridays and Saturdays at varying dates and times in September, October and November. As in the past years, this will be a very exciting year for both the students and the staff. Come out and support the students at all of their exhibition and competitive performances listed below ~ you will not be disappointed!!!
