PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE
The Trabuco Hills High School Percussion Ensemble is the 2023 Southern California Percussion Alliance (SCPA) Championships Percussion Scholastic Open (PSO) 12th Place Finalist. The Percussion Ensemble is under the direction of Donovan Alanes (Caption Head), with assistance from Will Belford, Angel Abonza-Ruiz, Emily Cabug and Stella Cortez.

During the fall season, the Percussion Ensemble is part of the Thundering Mustangs Marching Unit. As such, these members are required to attend all marching unit events. During the fall season, rehearsals are typically Mondays from 3:00pm until 5:30pm, Tuesdays from 3:00pm until 7:00pm, Thursdays from 5:00pm until 9:00pm, and Fridays and Saturdays at varying dates and times.
In the winter season, the Percussion Ensemble will compete in the Percussion Scholastic Open (PSO) class in the Southern California Percussion Alliance (SCPA) circuit. During the winter season, rehearsals are typically Wednesdays from 6:00pm until 9:00pm, Thursdays from 3:45pm until 5:30pm and Fridays from 2:45pm until 5:30pm. The Winter 2024 Show is entitled Silouettes.
