PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE

The Trabuco Hills High School Percussion Ensemble is the 2019 Southern California Percussion Alliance Percussion Scholastic Open (PSO) - Finalist (12th Place). The Percussion Ensemble is under the direction of Robert Bowen (Caption Head), with assistance from Rudy Arzaga, Donovan Alanes, Jackson Lai, and Deanna Stockwell.

 

The major accomplishments of the Trabuco Hills High School Percussion Ensemble are listed in the Trabuco Hills High School Instrumental Music Program Resume: 1992-2021.

 

During the fall season, the Percussion Ensemble is part of the Thundering Mustangs Marching Unit. As such, these members are required to attend all marching unit events. During the fall season, rehearsals are typically Mondays from 1:15pm until 4:15pm, Tuesdays from 2:15pm until 5:00pm, Thursdays from 6:00pm until 9:00pm, Fridays from 2:15pm until 5:00pm and Saturdays at varying times.

 

In the winter season, the Percussion Ensemble will compete in the Percussion Scholastic A (PSA) class in the Winter Guard Association of Southern California (WGASC) circuit. During the winter season, rehearsals are typically Mondays from 1:15pm until 4:15pm and Wednesdays from 2:30pm until 5:00pm. The title of the Winter 2021 show is Always Now.
