PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE
The Trabuco Hills High School Percussion Ensemble is the 2025 Southern California Percussion Alliance (SCPA) Championships Percussion Scholastic Open (PSA) Finalist - 6th Place. The Percussion Ensemble is under the direction of Donovan Alanes (Caption Head), with assistance from Dylan Schwartz, Chris Braun, Nick Quan and Brianna Requilman.

During the fall season, the Percussion Ensemble is part of the Thundering Mustangs Marching Unit. As such, these members are required to attend all marching unit events. During the fall season, rehearsals are typically Mondays from 2:45pm until 5:30pm, Tuesdays from 3:00pm until 7:00pm, Thursdays from 5:00pm until 9:00pm, and Fridays and Saturdays at varying dates and times.
In the winter season, the Percussion Ensemble will compete in the Percussion Scholastic Open (PSA) class in the Southern California Percussion Alliance (SCPA) circuit. During the winter season, rehearsals are typically Tuesdays from 5:00pm until 9:00pm, Thursdays from 3:30pm until 7:30pm, and Fridays and Saturdays at varying dates and times. The title of the Winter 2026 show is FLY.
